Trotteur winner of a Jutra

Trotteur, a film codirected by Arnaud Brisebois, Mokko’s highly skilled Artistic Director and his fellow-member Francis Leclerc, received the honour of a Jutra in the category “Best short film.” The Jutra pay tribute to all the artists, craftsmen and all the films produced during the year as well as ultimately celebrating the excellence of the Québécois film production. As the General Manager, Marc-Antoine Rousseau, points out: “For Mokko, Trotteur always had our vote (of confidence)… And for us, it was already a winner. We joined Arnaud’s project and made the visual effects because we believe in our talent. But receiving a Jutra is a great recognition and it’s also an acknowledgement of the directors’ vision we were successfully able to create.

Alain Lachance, VFX Supervisor and Cofounder, was also happy to hear the news: “There’s an infectious enthusiasm running through the studio! The team is delighted to have been part of Trotteur and is also very proud of Arnaud. I take my hat off to our artists, their immense talent, creativity and their strong sense of collaboration!

Trotteur was presented for the first time at TIFF 2011 and can be seen on big screen before The Artist. Arnaud Brisebois has been at Mokko since 2007 as the Artistic Director.
